SRS Settings
- Uses the YA2026 Singapore tax-resident progressive rates and the S$80,000 overall personal relief cap shown in the attached workbook.
- IRAS states that SRS relief is included in the overall S$80,000 personal income tax relief cap; the optimizer therefore stops recommending extra SRS once that cap is reached.
- WMCR is calculated from IRAS YA2026 rules: 15%/20%/25% of mother's earned income for children before 1 Jan 2024, fixed S$8,000/S$10,000/S$12,000 for children on or after 1 Jan 2024, capped at 100% of earned income and S$50,000 per child including QCR/child relief.
- Life Insurance Relief follows the IRAS constraint: nil if relevant CPF contributions are S$5,000 or more; otherwise the lower of S$5,000 less CPF contribution, eligible premiums paid, and 7% of insured value.
- The recommendation is the additional SRS contribution that is claimable and tax-effective, capped by the annual SRS limit, remaining SRS cap, remaining personal relief cap, and remaining chargeable income.
- This is an estimate for planning. It does not replace IRAS assessment rules for specific relief eligibility.
